Military Personnel visit Radix's booth at LAAD Conference 2017
Military from the United States, Germany, Canada, and Brazil, among others, attended the largest defense and security gathering in Latin America
The largest gathering of security technology and equipment vendors in Latin America, LAAD Defense and Security was held this week in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Radix participated at the event by hosting a booth, where the company welcomed the United States Navy and Air Force, German Army, and the Canadian Navy. The conference had over 35,000 attendees, there were 195 official delegations from 85 countries.
Keeping in line with growing concerns over the security of digital systems, Radix showcased several of its cybersecurity offerings at this event. Being a company that is heavily involved in informational technology (IT) and operational technology (OT) solutions that frequently make use of cloud infrastructures, Radix often applies data diode technologies in order to keep the data that delivers so much value for its clients safe and out of the wrong hands. In addition, Radix also used this as an opportunity to introduce its X! Digital Solution, an asset management system that was specifically designed for the needs of military operations.
